Acendas Travel, Lyft Partner to Offer Added Value for Clients

Shared ride services continue to grow in popularity and now Acendas Travel corporate clients and their team associates have the opportunity to benefit from a formal relationship with Lyft.

Acendas Travel Vice President Terri Barton says the Lyft for Business partnership leverages various relationships in the travel industry to create added value for all parties. According to Lyft, the average savings for companies using the program ranges from 30 to 50 percent and comes with duty of care protections including full visibility into each business ride, an individual organization Lyft portal for insights  and reports, expense management with in-app integration, and extensive customer support. In addition, companies are eligible for a client rebate, pending meeting the minimum requirements.

Individually, travelers utilizing Lyft can earn Delta SkyMiles and Hilton Honors points through its employer being enrolled in the program. 

“As new players have entered the industry, it’s incumbent on us to evaluate them to determine if they are viable options for a client’s travel management program,” Barton said. “The concept of shared services has become popular and they have matured in a manner that not only meets the needs of the end user, but also achieves the desired service standards. The Lyft for Business Program is one such service.”
