Vacation Department Travel Advisor

Job Summary: This position will be a working travel advisor position as part of the vacation sales staff. The individual in this position will demonstrate a high level of sales ability in consultative selling and customer service for upscale, premium vacation clients who travel both domestically and internationally.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Qualify travel leads and gather travel objectives from clients. 
  • Confirm best value and fit for client on vacation packages, cruises, tours and travel  insurance; communicate same in professional and organized manner. 
  • Assists customer to determine best vacation destination to meet budget  considerations. 
  • Suggest creative travel solutions and additional services. 
  • Evaluate supplier choice based on customer needs and preferred vendor policy. Confidently share first-hand travel knowledge with clients with a “been-there, done that” expertise. 
  • Update and maintain traveler’s profile information as requested. 
  • Develop a specialty in at least one destination or travel type and become the lead  advisor in that area. 
  • Comprehend and advise client on relevant industry information. 
  • Reinforce positive relationships between Acendas and Vendors. 
  • Communicate all necessary client requests and/or concerns to the Vacation Director. Attend and participate in team meetings and trainings. 
  • Stay up-to-date on current events and changes in the travel industry and participate  in fam trips to further travel knowledge. 
  • Follow Acendas procedures and policies as they relate to offering exceptional  customer service for client retention. 
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma. 
  • Minimum of two to three (2 – 3) years’ Travel Advisor experience. 
  • Advanced proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel); Gmail preferred.
  • Client Base (CRM system) experience preferred.
  • Sabre (GDS) experience preferred.

Corporate Sales Executive

Job Summary: The Corporate Sales Executive will own the sales process from start to finish, beginning with generating new business opportunities by researching and identifying lists of companies to  target. Contact with prospects will be made through cold calling, email, and e-marketing  campaigns. The Sales Executive will focus on conceptual sales and creative solutions for the  prospect’s needs by conducting conversations with C-Level executives about their business.  The Sales Executive is responsible for closing the sale and writing the contract. Utilize CRM  tools to find prospects in specific geographic areas, as well as maintain and manage leads in  the prospect pipeline.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify lists of companies to target. 
  • Execute proven processes to generate leads through cold calling, email, and e marketing campaigns. 
  • Strategize with Sales team to acquire new accounts. 
  • Map prospective accounts around organizational structure, people, and existing  technology. 
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of leads and prospect accounts. 
  • Update prospect information and track progress using the CRM tool. 
  • Conduct conversations with C-level executives about their business needs. 
  • Create and deliver sales presentations and proposals. 
  • Prepare contract to close the sale. 
  • Develop and maintain strong industry product knowledge. 
  • Assist in planning and attend client and prospect events. 
  • Coordinate new account implementations with Program Manager and Operations.
  • Ensure new account development tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Meet and exceed annual sales quota of (TBD). 
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five (5) years’ sales experience with a travel management company is  required. 
  • Salesforce CRM knowledge is preferred. 
  • Knowledge of multi-channel, content, and digital/mobile marketing is a preferred.
  • Some travel is required.
  • College degree.

Travel Consultant/Corporate

Job Summary: Provide quality customer service to corporate clients who travel domestically and/or internationally, while accurately managing all travel requests, following the appropriate process and procedures. This individual must be a self-directed and technology-driven team player.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Respond to client requests and inquiries in a call center environment through multiple channels such as phone, email, text/SMS or online booking tool.
  • Receive, initiate and process reservations received by booking and ticketing airline, rail, car, hotel and limo services in accordance with client requests.
  • A high volume of monthly transactions is required.
  • Utilize Global Distribution Systems (GDS) queues, scripts, and programmable keys to successfully fulfill travel requests.
  • Act as the advocate for the client to ensure travel needs are met and customer satisfaction exceeds expectations while following travel policy.
  • Email monitoring and response.
  • Special Projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of four (4) years’ corporate travel experience is required.
  • Knowledge of travel agency operations is required.
  • Ability to work shifts to cover extended hourss.
  • Advanced knowledge of Sabre reservation system is required.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.

Program Manager – Kansas City

Job Summary: The responsibility of the Program Manager is to drive client profitability, retention of  accounts and grow the number of Acendas services provided to the client. The Program Manager will manage a portfolio of $20-30 Million in annual air volume for Midwest  Accounts. As the primary contact for new and existing Midwest accounts, this position is  responsible for customer retention, service, product expansion, implementation and  customer support. This will be achieved through strategic analysis and the ability to build  strong client relationships.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure client’s retention with Acendas by exceeding client expectations in every  interaction with the program manager. 
  • Develop and execute a travel cost management business plan detailing objectives,  strategies and measurable targets. 
  • Understand client growth opportunities, technology products and ensure clients have  working knowledge of capabilities. 
  • Provide formal reviews of the client’s travel program by conducting periodic Business  Reviews, new account implementation process, participate in sales presentations to  describe program management process, and assist in bid process for preferred  vendors when requested. 
  • Be an active contributing member at meetings with Teams to keep them abreast of  client accounts and any information which is likely to impact (either positively or  negatively) on Acendas.
  • Share information with fellow Program Managers and other departments to ensure a  united, consistent and professional approach to client account management. • Contribute to the development and maintenance of office systems and processes  associated with accounts. Ensure that all client account information is current so that a thorough knowledge  and understanding of the account can be made by simply reading the client file within  our CRM System. 
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • College degree. 
  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years of similar Program Management experience.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and Google email software.
